Bengaluru, NewsX, the English News Channel which is soon to be re-launched in its new avatar as IMN News, has added two evening news shows Southern View and The World to its news & programming line-up. As the names suggest, Southern View will be a daily capsule on latest news, views and updates right from Southern India and The World will encapsulate the latest happenings from around the World in a single weekly bulletin.

Conceptualized specifically keeping in mind the requests from its Southern viewers, Southern View will be a weekday news bulletin with a focus on latest news and updates exclusively from Goa and four states of Southern India namely Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. This half hour news bulletin will be telecasted 5 days a week from Monday to Friday and will provide a daily round-up of latest happenings in these regions with an in-depth analysis by experts.

The World is a half an hour news bulletin dedicated to the latest news on International Affairs, Science & Technology, and Hollywood which will provide latest update on the weeks top international stories. To make it more interesting for viewers and add an insiders perspective & insight, NewsX will bring in experts and influential people to share their viewpoint on the stories. The World is a weekend news bulletin and will be telecasted every Saturday with repeats on respective Sundays.

The World - Every Saturday @ 6:30 pm with Repeats on Sunday @ 12:30 pm & 8:30 pm

Southern View - Monday to Friday @ 6:30 pm

IMN News is the new brand identity that the premier English news channel NewsX will soon assume. The new look of the channel will be unveiled soon, and be accompanied with a similarly redesigned website, IPTV service and mobile TV.
