Indore,Ek Chutki Aasman is a story of Chutki (Roshni Parekh) a 7-year-old girl, living in a small village near Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Chutki is a sunshine girl and as she walks into places, she brings smiles on peoples faces. Chutki is the daughter of Naresh and Hemangi (Chavvi Mittal). It is a good life, but things change when her father dies in a freak accident on site and soon enough the mother and daughter are thrown out of their own house unceremoniously, by Chutkis grandparents. Hemangi has no other option but to come and stay with her brother Ramakant (Manav Sohal)

Ramakant is unable to convince his wife Sandhya to let Hemangi and Chutki live with them. Sandhya vindicates Hemangi and Chutki for a series of problems in their happy life ever since the mother - daughter duo started staying with them. She is in no mood to relent and asks Hemangi and her daughter Chutki to leave their house as soon as possible. A dejected Hemangi goes to the post office and calls her father-in-law but even he refuses saying that her mother in law will never agree. Hemangi is distraught and does not know where to go now.

After lot of struggles and problems in life, Hemangi finally gets a job in the village. She gets a job as the caretaker of school headmasters pregnant daughter Anjali. Ramakant also convinces his wife to let Hemangi stay with them now since she will be sharing a lot of financial burden of their house. Everything is going fine when one day Anjalis gets unwell and her health starts deteriorating. She decides to go back to Mumbai for better treatment and medical care.

This job is Hemangis only ray of hope in her life and with Anjalis decision of moving back to Mumbai, it seems shattering. Hemangi is clueless about what more life has to offer now when the headmaster offers Hemangi to go with Anjali to Mumbai and work over there by taking care of his daughter. Hemangi now has to decide whether she can move to Mumbai with Anjali and retain her job especially since she will have to go alone leaving her daughter Chutki behind.

Will Hemangi reject Anjalis offer of shifting with her to Mumbai leaving her daughter Chutki behind?

Ek Chutki Aasman is a story about love and longing of a young girl, for her mothers love. It is the story of young innocent Chutki and the journey, which will take her through the difficulties of life. Nevertheless, what remain integral is Chutkis innocence and her undying faith in all good things.
