Fast EoC™ is Sigmas most advanced Ethernet over Coax (EoC) technology for use in broadband access solutions to multi-dwelling unit (MDU) environments and is included in the CopperGate CG3210M chipset and the new CopperGate CG3310M chip. This technology delivers over 160 Mbit/s of total system bandwidth to 126 end points concurrently -- more than double the previous level.
The Fast EoC™ technology is being embedded into MDU masters, ONTs, MDU end points, set-top boxes and even televisions. It is already being implemented by 14 different companies including Cisco, Tatung, Sercomm, x3me and KingType whose products will be shown in the Sigma booth at CCBN or Convergence India.
