The recent ones being Manu Talwar (previously with Airtel as CEO Mumbai & Maharashtra) and Anand Garg (previously with Tata Communication as VP Corporate Affairs). QTIL & WTTIL is currently managing around 35000+ towers and has plans of rolling out nearly 30000 additional towers by 2010-11. The company has by far the highest tenancy of 2.0 tenants per tower. It is the strongest player in neutral host Shared In-Building Communication Solutions (IBS) with installation already completed at Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kochin International Airports. Earlier this year, QTIL announced its partnership with Tata Teleservices Ltd. (TTSL) with the merger of their passive infrastructure businesses.
QTIL-WTTIL, the largest independent Shared Telecom Infrastructure Company, announces the appointment of Manu Talwar and Anand Garg as Chief Officer for North-East and South-West Hubs respectively. They bring along with them vast and valuable experience across multiple industry domains and will take charge of their respective hubs from today onwards.
Prior to this role, Manu was serving as CEO, Mumbai & Maharashtra circle with Bharti Airtel Ltd. He has been on strategic roles with industry leaders such as Coca-Cola India, Benckiser India, Pepsi Foods Ltd, CDIL & Voltas to, to name a few. He brings along with him over 22 years of unchallenged authority in delivering revenues and achieving profit targets for the brands he has been associated with.
On the other hand, Anand has been known for his acumen in direct & indirect sales, FMCG channel management and marketing. His last assignment was with Tata Communications Ltd where he has been instrumental in providing strategic support for new acquisitions and alliances. He was KAM (key account management) Head for North & East region, QTIL-WTTIL, before taking over this new role. His enriching experience is spread across reputed organizations such as Modi Xerox, Castrol India Ltd, BP Plc., Tata Teleservices Ltd. and South Africa based Neotel (Pty) Ltd.
Both Manu and Anand will be key members of the leadership team to implement our vision and play a pivotal role driving the business objectives of the combined entity of QTIL-WTTIL relating to Hub Deliverables of the regions.
