New Delhi, Delhi, market recovers, median 19% hikes projected for Internet and Mobile Industry reveals a recently concluded study by Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and Ma Foi Consulting Solutions Ltd.

The primary objective of this exercise was to collect and share information on trends in compensation, benefits and people practices in the internet and mobile industry and help companies take strategic decisions in the area of Human Resources.

This report also highlights that Organizations are planning to grant pay increases in 2010. Most of the companies are awarding salary hikes and bonuses to reward the employees who have stayed on through the down turn. Salary increase budgets for this year typically comprises of merit pay increases, market adjustments, cost of living adjustments, general increases or a combination of these increases.

The survey report provides information on salary trends for various positions in the industry along with the best HR practices across the industry.

It also states that the Mobile and Internet Industry in India is growing at an unmatched pace.
