India,On Sunday June 13, 2010, Team LIVANNAS was announced as the second (2nd) position holder in Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare Rally, 2010 under TSD (Time Speed Distance) Amateur Category.

The Team was comprised of Rakesh Bhatia from Hyderabad in the driving seat and Jaideep Lunial from Chandigarh as Co-Driver/Navigator.

Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare started on June 7, 2010 with a ceremonial Flag-off in Bangalore and concluded in Kochi on June 12, 2010 after 5 days and 1800 Km long challenging drive through the states of Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerela.

Heavy rains in Kerela made and extremely beautiful and challenging terrain even more beautiful and furthermore challenging, said Rakesh.

I feel contended as this was only our second event since our debut from Desert Storm this year and feel blessed with the podium finish. However this is just a start and we look forward to work harder and make this a continued feature. said Jaideep.

The rally passed through some of the most exotic and difficult locales of South of India but the team LIVANNAS was well prepared for it and I had a confidence in them and was sure that they will come out with flying colors., said Murali Srinivas who mentors the team and is himself a Rally Veteran with several rally successes under his wings.

After this success Team LIVANNAS has already started to plan for the forthcoming events. The Team is also working at adding more cars and members and to extend its presence in other categories of car rallying.
