Mumbai, Inorbit Mall, Mumbai, was the big winner, at the prestigious Images Shopping Centre Awards (ISCA) 2010 claiming the Most Admired Shopping Centre Developer of the Year award against a field of high profile competitors, including High Street Phoenix Mills, DLF Limited and the Prestige Group.
The company was also recognised for its efforts in holding more than 300 days of events at Inorbit Malls in the past year with the award for Most Admired Shopping Centre of the Year - Marketing & Consumer Promotion.
The Images Shopping Centre Awards (ISCA) 2010, last night recognised the nations best shopping centres and developers in a glittering ceremony hosted by investment banker turned actor Anish Trivedi of Paa fame and television personality Simone Singh at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Centre, Powai, Mumbai.
New Delhis popular Select City Walk continues to impress shoppers and fellow mall developers, receiving the Most Admired Shopping Centre of the Year - Metros, and Most Admired Shopping Centre of the Year (up to 5 lac sq ft gross leasing area (GLA) awards.
The Palladium, Mumbai won the Most Admired Shopping Centre Launch of the Year - West for its high profile opening and its tenant selection of desired international brands.
Renowned comedian, Ash Chandler, brought the house down with his riotous stand-up act, while singer Anaida, brought glamour and elegance to the stage with a mix of Bollywood and English hits. Both mall moghuls and retail badshahs let their hair down and swayed to the beats.
The IMAGES Shopping Centre Awards honour achievements in the creation of large-scale retail and entertainment spaces across India. They direct the spotlight on outstanding shopping centres as benchmarks of profitable land use, and provide impetus to an industry that is rapidly evolving in India.
