Siliguri, With an aim to eradicate misunderstanding about courses and career and to provide information about colleges and admission procedure, NINE FM and Chetna Event Management organized CHETANA CAREER FAIR 2010 - a 3day career fair starting 30th April till 2nd May. The career fair was organized at Rabindra Manch, Siliguri.

The exhibition had stalls of various colleges and institutions .Students sought the help of career counselors who guided them properly in matters of their career burnout and new career choices.

NINE believes planning ones career effectively is a very important step if we really want to achieve heights of success in professional arena. Every individual has some dream and certain ambition regarding how they want to see themselves at different junctures of life. Career planning is very crucial in fulfilling those dreams. Choosing ones career might seem like a herculean task but better to think and decide rather than act hastily.

Apart from course information, various other programs like Inter school quiz contest, War of Bands, dance performances and many more were also arranged for the visitors.

NINE FM promoted the entire fair on-air. Live bytes from the venue were also broadcast on NINE FM. NINE RJ were present on the last day of the fair to interact with the visitors.

Mr. Bobby Gupta, Chief Executive , NINE FM said, With the sudden increase in competition and career options, it is quite natural for a student to get confused and HCS is regarded as a crucial stage wherein an individual needs to clearly understand his interest and capability to pursue a rewarding career. Hence, with the aim of solving their confusion, we have organized this career fair to help them while they embark on their career path.
