Big 92.7 FM Kolkata In Search Of Kids RJ From Slums

Kolkata, BIG 92.7FM (The No 1 Radio station from Week 1 to 40, among Section A,B,C 12+yrs), as part of its Children day Celebration, is all set to launch, Kids RJ, a unique talent hunt among the slum kids. This innovative way of celebrating Childrens Day will provide the Slum kids an exciting opportunity to co-host shows on 14th November.

Renowned celebrity actor Sreelekha Mitra was also present to encourage the children to participate in the Kids RJ Hunt.

RJ Sumanto and RJ Sanchari from 10th November - 13th November will be in search of Kids RJ, from four Slums across the city. The first Live show held at Tollygunge Slum today will be followed by Pragadi Palli Slum, Kalindi on 11th November, Chingrighata Slum on 12th November and VIP Bazaar/Kadapara Slum on 13th November.

The age group will be restricted to 15 years open to both male and female. Four Kids RJs selected by Sumanto and Sanchari will feature in Adda Exp, Ektu Personal and Just Kolkata.

Commenting on the above initiative, Mr. Terence Mandle, Station Head, Kolkata - BIG 92.7 FM said, We are looking for children who are skillful and talented. We believe that the slum children have talent and they require a platform to express themselves. We are offering them an opportunity to co- host shows with their favorite RJs on Childrens day.
