The move comes after the company has received 2500 stem cells enrollments from Gujarat till date. "We have so far received 2500 stem cells enrollments from Gujarat, which is huge compared to other states. As far as awareness for stem cell banking is concerned, Gujarat can be ranked as the top state in India. In fact, looking at the awareness and demand for the umbilical cord blood stem cell banking in small towns with a population of just 1-2 lakhs, we have decided to set up our centres in places like Deesa this year," said Ghazi Aasim, marketing head - Cryobanks International India.
