Chandigarh, Union Territory, BIG 92.7 FM, India No. 1 FM station, celebrated Guruparav across key stations in Punjab, including Chandigarh, Amritsar and Patiala, with loads of on-air and and on-ground offerings. BIG FM Chandigarh aired some special on air programming mix for the listeners which consisted of contents wherein RJs talked about the preaching of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Nagar Kirtans were taken on air from various Gurudawaras of the city. To celebrate the occasion, RJs visited the popular Paras Down Town Mall and played games with the audience along with some surprise gifts!
BIG FM Amritsar organized Gurbani Competition for the children from age group 8 to 12 years. Both the children and their parents enjoyed the competition and won surprise prizes! Special Gurubani Kirtan (religious chant) was played during the morning and evening time whereas RJ Harry took live links of the Nagar Kirtan in Golden Temple. BIG FM Patiala planned special programming mix for the sacred day. The RJs of the stations talked about Guru Gobind Singh and his teachings. Nagar Kirtan bytes from the prestigious Dukhnivaran Sahib were also aired to celebrate the special day.
