The launch of this one of its kind portal for Diabetic patients was launched at the Press Club of Bangalore  Cubbon Park  in the presence of many eminent personalities who have dedicated their careers and lives for the better understanding and management of Type 1  insulin dependent  diabetes mellitus or IDMM
Present on the occasion were Prof HN Mahabala  Father of Computer Science & Information Technology in India and Former Director  IIT Madras   Ms Usha Dhiman  India’s first recipient of Victory Gold Medal Of Honor For Conquest Of Type 1 Diabetes For Greater Than 50 Years and Dr SS Srikanta  Medical Director  Senior Endocrinologist Diabetologist  Samatvam Jnana Sanjeevini  Bangalore   Ms Usha  who has successfully braved childhood diabetes for more than 50 years and the longest survivor of this disease in India  also shared her experiences with the audience
