Supporting  Zero discrimination  and  Getting to Zero    the official theme for World AIDS Day 2011  Mehndi quoted   It is time for all of us to come together and act Discussing about HIV and AIDS has been such a taboo in society  but the key to the prevention of HIV AIDS not only depends on the treatment and care but equally on spreading awareness  Let us all come together  raise awareness about HIV and help put an end to HIV stigma and discrimination
Discrimination is a human rights violation  and to tackle HIV  we need to focus not only on safe practices but also on eliminating prejudice against those living with HIV  Show your solidarity towards them  Do not shun them  Be compassionate and love all
On World AIDS Day  Singer composer Daler Mehndi advocates all to unite in the fight against HIV  Mehndi  who has been involved with various philanthropist and humanitarian causes  in his continued efforts to nurture human values in the world has also launched an organization  Human First   The organization aims to reflect upon a peaceful way to live and co exist  and embarks on a journey towards  One man   One World   One Mankind   Following the path shown by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji  Mehndi too believe  Manas Ki Jaat Sabhey Ekey Pehchanbo   and desires to spread harmony and the message of equality and non discrimination amongst all at all levels
