Vodafone Essar is the official partner to DLF IPL 2009. Vodafone Essar is offering these special rates in partnership with the leading South African mobile services provider Vodacom, which is a joint venture partner with the Vodafone Group. Vodafone Essar’s Postpaid customers can select Vodacom as their default network while roaming in South Africa during IPL and enjoy upto 85% discount on calls, SMS and GPRS services. Customers can make local and international calls at Rs 12.6/min and Rs 34.8/min respectively and enjoy the discounted benefits. All local incoming calls will be charged at Rs. 12.5/min and SMS would be charged at Rs 5/sms, which are special discounted rates during the tournament. Special benefits would be extended to GPRS users who get 85% discount on the data usage with a minimal charge of 90 p/ 10KB of data usage.
