 The people of Kargil once again came alive with the 2nd Lalit Suri Polo  The atmosphere was charged with energy and happiness as local teams played with Team Lalit and the young dynamic Team from Mongolia
 The completely unknown Bekal region caught the attention and imagination of the entire Southern Region by organizing The Lalit Utsav providing wholesome entertainment for the local residents of all communities  most of whom had never witnessed the vibrant Bhangra or eaten the famous Delhi Chaat

Mid Market Segment
The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group s diversification into the mid market segment   called The Lalit Traveller are on track    will open properties in seven locations   Pune  Drass  J   K   Jalandhar  Baroda  Mundra  Maninagar and Bangalore  Offering a total of 410 rooms   each hotel has 25 to 80 rooms based on its location  All hotels are currently under development and expected to be operational by 2011  Overall the group will invest more than Rs 750 to 800 crores in this segment   and plans are to have a network of 25 hotels by 2014
