New Delhi, With our planet earth on the brink of severe climate change, its time for all of us to understand the need of the hour. Now its time to add our share to the environment. Therefore Worlds First Corporate Plantation Event was organized where P7 News Channel  fulfilled its responsibility towards the environment participated as the National News Partner.

The plantation was done in Manywar Kanshi Ram Gramin Avas Yojna Residential Complex, Noida on 5th March 2010 at 9.30 am. Many people supported this great cause and came forward to lend a helping hand to save the environment.

According to Mr. Jyoti Narain, Director, Pearls Broadcasting Corporation Ltd., We all should understand the importance of our natural surroundings and it should be our duty to enlighten the coming generations about environmental protection. The vision should be of a green world and we should make people aware about the damages being done to the environment. We should launch awareness campaigns for plantation and should go to the grassroots levels to educate people to save the environment and make world a better place to live.

The Green house gases are the main culprits of the global warming. The green house gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide are playing hazards in the present times. These green house gases trap heat in earths atmosphere and thus result in increasing the temperature of earth. The excessive emission of these gases is the major cause of global warming.

Therefore, the solution to save the environment and stop global warming is to reduce carbon and green house gas emission in the atmosphere before its too late. Stopping dependency on fossil fuels and look out for renewable energy which can be substituted for the energy needs. Planting more and more trees to move towards a greener environment is a better solution to fight global warming.
