Star Pravahs latest offering Vivel presents Kashala Udyachi Baat is based on this unique, and exciting concept, a story that revolves around two women who have the same fate lines and an age gap of 25 years between them.

Replacing the immensely popular show Agnihotra, which ends on April 30, 2010, this engrossing series is the perfect successor and promises to provide even more exciting entertainment for the entire family. Starting from May 3 at 9 pm, Vivel presents Kashala Udyachi Baat revolves around Revati Karkhanis, daughter of Vishwas and Anjali Karkhanis who are the typical warm, caring and protective parents. Living in a typical Maharashtrian locality in Mumbai, Revati is a chirpy, happy-go-lucky girl pursuing a course in Astronomy. Being a science student she is driven by logic but is stumped by her own extra sensory power which enables her at times to know the immediate future. Her life revolves around her parents, studies and close friends like Aditya and she aims to make her name in the world of Astronomy in the future.

However life as some thing else planned for her as she stumbles upon a shocking and almost unbelievable truth that she has a hand twin. Her fate lines match exactly that of another woman who is 25 years elder to her. She is in a quandary and having to question and reevaluate her fundamental beliefs in science versus astrology. She finds herself at a cross road of choices, is it simple mere coincidence and she proceed with her life as usual? Does this mean that she has the same fate in store for her as her hand twin? Should she meet her and try to change her destiny? Can she change her destiny?

High intensity drama, thrills, interspersed with some lighter moments and chats set in a coffee house, in the show, makes it a very contemporary yet wholesome family entertainer.

Directed by the popular and talented Satish Rajwade, Vivel presents Kashala Udyachi Baat has the most interesting and experienced ensemble of actors who will take it to a different high.
