Pune, Maharashtra, Come January 2010, Pune receives a musical treat with the music composer duo Ajay Atul performing live for the first time in the city. The star composers announced their first live concert in Pune on the onset of the New Year.

Ajay Atul Live in Concert is set to take place on the SSPMS ground in Pune on the 9th January 2010. This show as portrayed by many is the homecoming of the star musical duo Ajay Atul, who by and large have won hearts across the globe with Vishwavinayak, an album that, has won them an international acclamation.

With songs from the hit marathi fims like aga bai arrechya, zatra, sawarkhed ek gaon, jabardust, ulladhal, jogawa and most recently natarang, the composors have significantly left their mark in Bollywood with movies like Virrudh, Gayab, Vaah! Life ho to aisi and in the South with Shock to name a few.

Ajay Atul Live in Concert is planned and conceived by the duo. The concert comprises of their band of 110 musicians along with 20 celebrity singers, chorus, and audience of 15,000...this mega show is such a magnificent musical extravaganza of international standards, designed specially for the Puneites.

The Ajay Atul Show as said above will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2010, 6.30 pm onwards at SSPMS Ground, Shivajinagar, Pune. The event is conceptualized and produced by Shivranjani Auvios Pvt. Ltd., Pune and the title sponsors are Paranjape Schemes Constructions Pvt. Ltd. and Eiffel Realtors. Mr. Nitin Vaidya of Shivranjani Auvios, Mr. Shashank Paranjape of Paranjape Schemes and Mr. Rahul Nahar of Eiffel Realtors were present at the press conference. Famous singers Shankar Mahadevan, Kunal Ganjawala, Vaishali Samant, Swapnil Bandodkar, Anand Shinde, Amruta Natu, Yogita Godbole will be singing in the show. Plus, there are some pleasant surprises for the Puneites, at the time of the show.

Addressing the press on Monday, the musical duo revealed some of their upcoming concert in Pune, their experiences and their connection with the city.

"Pune is where we began. I still remember the times when in Pune, Ajay and I walked with the local wedding musical bands trying to learn their styles and modes. The only difference is that the band walks with us now, but we still are learners," said Atul, the elder tuner in the two. "We always wanted to come back and put up a show that could be more or less a memento for our city and this is it."

"We have been emotionally connected to this city. Atul and me have the fondest memories of growing up here. Its like performing at home." replied Ajay. When asked about what the audience could look forward to next, "We have always maintained a variation in all our films, like our forthcoming film Natrang carries traditional numbers like the lavni and tamasha."

Now Based in Mumbai, Ajay Atul have not only contributed to the Marathi Music Industry, but also have delivered hits in Bollywood and the South Indian Music Industry.
