Mumbai, Reliance BIG Pictures has set the temperature soaring high by making Rakesh Roshans Kites starring Hritik Roshan, Barabara Mori, the most awaited film of Summer 2010 the Widest Release ever with 2000 screens in India and across 500 screens globally.
Kites which was marketed aggressively worldwide has created a stupendous amount of excitement and curiosity and Reliance BIG Pictures is therefore leaving no stones unturned in ensuring that Kites reaches every avid film watcher through 10000 shows in India. The film grossed over 21crores on the opening day, the second highest opening in India ever and is expected to have a bumper weekend.
The film has opened to rave reviews and full houses in 30 countries, again an unprecedented task.
Another milestone achieved by Kites is that it becomes the first Indian film to have received overwhelming response in International media. The films International version Kites Remix presented by Hollywoods top director Brett Ratner of X-Men, Rush Hour 3 fame, will open worldwide next Friday.
