Panaji, Goa, On the tenth year of WIZBIZ, one comes to realize how small initiatives can go on to become a legacy. In continuation with this legacy, Goa Institute of Management (GIM) will organize the annual corporate quiz, WIZBIZ 2010 on the evening of 27th February at the International Centre, Dona Paula.

Wiz Biz annually brings together members of the corporate world from various sectors across the country for an evening of fierce intellectual competition. It also provides the audience with an evening high on learning and enjoyment. This year WIZBIZ will be conducted by the well known quizmaster, Mr. Ajay Anthony. Ajay is currently the Vice president of T.I.M.E Pvt Ltd and also the Guiness World Record Holder for conducting "Aqua Regia-Science Quiz" - the largest quiz in the World.

On the occasion of having completed a decade of WIZBIZ, the Institute is organizing a parallel quiz for all the colleges of Goa thus providing students with an opportunity to interact with corporates from across the nation. This would be a platform for students from Goa to not only showcase their quizzing talent but also interact with the corporate world.

This landmark event has already created a brand recall for itself in the minds of serious quizzing aficionados through its unique format and the enthusiastic participation from both the participating teams and the audience.

The quiz format so designed is highly interactive and ensures that everyone is always on their toes and minds ticking. There are lots of attractive prizes to be won by the participants as well as the audience members.

WIZBIZ 2010 will see a turnout of teams from some of the best and most prestigious establishments of the country, the likes of which include Savoir Faire,Sun Microsystems, Accenture, Tata Capital jumping into the fray. WIZBIZ is already a legacy in the GIM fraternity and it the dream of the institute to make it the largest corporate quiz conducted by a B-school in India. To realize this dream, the corporate houses of Goa have stepped forward. This year Signature Beverages and Aguada Anchorage have come forward to be the associate sponsors along with radio partners Big 92.7 FM. The companies share the same vision as the student community and are working towards bringing students and business leaders together on a common platform. The event shall have in attendance, besides the participating teams, several members from the industry and scores of students from across the state.

About Goa Institute of Management:

The Goa Institute of Management was started in 1993 by Fr. Romuald DSouza supported by a team of professionals and industrialists and has risen to one of the finest management schools in the country. It is now embarked on raising its level to be among the top 10 in the country and the top 70 in the world with international accreditation.
