Bengaluru, IIRA (Investment, Innovation and Research Alliance), a technology based resource organization, today announced the upcoming visit of a 75 member German Delegation to India under the aegis of the BMBF(Federal Ministry of Education and Research) CAMPAIGN: INDIA AND GERMANY - STRATEGIC PARTNERS FOR INNOVATION. The main sectors of interest are Production technologies, Life Sciences, Environmental technologies, Sustainable Development and Health Research. The purpose of the delegations visit, in addition to participating in Emtech India 2010 is to strengthen collaborative research opportunities with Indian Industry and Academia.
Ms Anandi Iyer, Representative of the German Research Campaign in India said, It is a tremendous opportunity for the German Research Institutions and Innovative companies to enlarge their footprint in India, and draw out more avenues for collaborative research. The strength of the delegation underlines the strong interest from the German side.
EmTech India 2010 is scheduled to be held on the 8th & 9th of March 2010 in Bangalore. The schedule for the 8th of March will consist of presentations in the field of Life Sciences and the 9th of March will be dedicated to the field of Environmental Technology. The programme will include presentations by eminent researchers and industry captains on innovative technology and programmes in the field of Production Technology, Life Sciences, Environmental Technologies and Sustainable Development. A highlight of the event is the preparation of a Road map for Indo German Collaboration in the above mentioned fields.
