Mumbai, Maharashtra, Director Swati Popat Vats of Podar Education Network joined hands with the Sanjay Barve of Mumbai Traffic Police and Shaina NC and presented the second year of the Walkathon for Children and Parents on the 14th of February 10, at the Gautam Buddha Park at Worli Sea face.

The kids were carrying placards of road safety rules. The little ones looked really cute as they pranced about purposefully.

Swati also released a book Jumbo Ideas For Happy Roads- a booklet that has interactive ideas to teach children about road and traffic safety rules. This was distributed to all children on that day absolutely free by Podar Education Network.

In addition to this; each child got a certificate of participation in the Walkathon, issued by the Mumbai Police and Traffic Police in association with Podar.

Shri Sanjay Barve(Joint C.P Traffic Police) said, "The whole initiative is an effort to show our children and the parents that the kids are indeed safe with us on the busy roads of Mumbai and to also salute the spirit of duty ,dedication and determination of the Mumbai police department and the Traffic Police Department."

So cheers to Happy Childhood that matures into responsible adulthood and cheers to KARTAVYA.
