Bengaluru, eGestalt Technologies, a world leader in Cloud based Information security and IT-GRC management solutions, which recently launched SecureGRCTM, the worlds first Cloud-based Integrated Information Security and IT-GRC solution for Enterprises, announced the appointment of Mr. Mukund Surange as the new Chief Executive Officer for eGestalt Technologies Pvt Ltd, India. Taking over from Mr. Chandra Sekhar Bilugu, the current CEO, who is moving into a larger role of Chairman with global focus, Mr. Mukund will be responsible for leading eGestalt, in India and the Asia-Pacific region. He will be responsible for technology consulting and products based delivery initiatives for the Indian and Asia Pacific market, while working with the executive management team of eGestalt Inc. to help drive product and business execution initiatives worldwide.
Mukund assumed the role on the 22nd March 2010 and will be located at the Indian Headquarters in Bangalore. Prior to eGestalt, Mukund was a General Manager at IBM. He had long stint with IBM for 17 years. Mukund brings with him 21+ years of strong business, management and technology background in the technology consulting and product development arena. Mukund led the financial markets delivery practice for IBM India global delivery, as General Manager, where he was responsible for helping in formulating the service growth strategy, developing new capabilities and creating differentiators for the practice and managing operations. Mukund holds a bachelors degree in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a masters degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. He has a MBA (postgraduate diploma) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
