Gujarat Alkalies Commissions Its 3rd Phase 21 MW Wind Mill Project

Ahmedabad, Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited, a flag bearer company in Chlor-Alkali industry, has already put up 62.75 MW Wind Mill Farm in Kachchh district as a part of commitment for protection of environment and for promoting Green Energy using renewable resources.
In continuance to GACLs commitment towards promoting Green Energy, the company has installed 3rd Phase Wind Mill Project of 21 MW capacity at site Maliya Miyana, Dist. Rajkot.
M/s. Suzlon Energy Ltd. has developed all the 3 Wind Energy Farms.
GACL MD Shri Guruprasad Mohapatra, IAS, commissioned the 1st WTG of the new 21 MW Wind Energy Project on 22nd March, 2010 at Maliya, Dist. Rajkot.
After commissioning the project, the total capacity of GACL Wind Mills shall thus go up to 83.75 MW.
GACL is the only State PSU to install such large capacity Wind Energy Projects in the Gujarat State.
