The book was successfully was released by Karnataka Lokayukta, Justice Santosh Hegde and Sri Harshanand Ji Maharaj, Ramakrishna Math along with the author at Reliance Timeout, Cunningham Road outlet followed by an interesting discussion.

It comprises a range of topics like music, religion, sentiments, etc., Articles like antiyu antadiruva srimantike, sariyaada samayakke uttejana, neralina miti, and indeed almost all of them are captivating! Dr Karajagi is an eminent scholar, orator, writer and more than all a personification of humility and Values. He is working as a silent revolutionary in the field of education. As per the verse -vidvaaneva vijaanaati vidvajjana parishramam, these attractive scholastic works of his have been duly appreciated and acknowledged by people.
It is co-incidental that the last stories of both the volumes of Dr Karajagis work revolve around death. The title jeeva jeevagalannu beseyuva kondi preeti of the 1st volume is indeed very attractive. Readers cannot help shedding tears as they read the passage- You have come as my daughter in this life. But in the next life do come as my mother and teach me how to love and be compassionate towards others. Similarly, in the story dignity in death, the instance wherein the author had to perform the last rites of an unknown mother touches the heart dearly.
May Karunaalu Baa Belake part 2 lead on the Kannada people through the dark misty way although it be through the cave of darkness to home that is far off!
About the author:
Dr Gururaj Karajagi Chairman-ACT is a committed educationist who has spent more than three decades teaching and establishing outstanding institutions that reflect the highest principles of educational philosophy and human values. Dr Karajagi, a doctoral degree holder from Karnataka University, has published over 22 research papers in International journals. He has served as a member of several prestigious Educational and Governmental committees. He is a life Fellow of the Electrochemical Society of India. He is also a serving member of the State Resource Group
(SRG) for the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) and NAAC accreditation, in the colleges of Karnataka
Dr Karajagi was the Principal, V. V .S. First Grade College for Women, Bangalore, for 16 years. He founded and headed the Jain International Residential School, Bangalore, and was the Director of the International Academy for Creative Teaching, Bangalore. He is also the member of the Management of many Universities. At present, he is the Chairman of the Academy for Creative Teaching (ACT), Bangalore, which guides and monitors several academic institutions in India and abroad.
A well read scholar, he has authored many stories, articles and textbooks in English and Kannada. He is a regular columnist in prestigious periodicals.
